Base Village Restaurants and Retailers

There are several restaurants and retailers located in Base Village. Restaurants include: Base Camp, Aurum, Kenichi, Slice, Jus, and Toro. Shopper's will enjoy browsing the storefronts of Aspen Sports Aspen X, and GG's Bodega.


Snowmass Village Activities

Welcome to the Base Village Master Association website!

Base Village, the exciting new hot spot at the base of Snowmass Ski Resort, in Snowmass Village, CO.


Nestled in an intimate valley, about 8 miles from Aspen, high in the Elk Range of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, Snowmass Village is a magical place that offers year round activities for the whole family.

Base Village consists of both residential and commercial units. Capitol Peak and Hayden Lodges offer studio, 1, 2, and 3 Bedroom condominiums for those who like to be at the center of the action. The newly built Viceroy Hotel provides guests with luxurious ski-in/ski-out guest rooms, fine dining,  and a sleek spa. Base Village is also home to several retail shops and restaurants  that visitors can enjoy.  Also convienent to Base Village are the Elk Camp Gondola and the Village Express lifts which provide access to Snowmass Mountain for skiers and snowboarders during the winter. Transworld Snowboarding ranked Snowmass #1 for best resort in it's 2011 rankings, while Freeskier Magazine ranked Snowmass #2 for 2011. During the summer months, the Elk Camp Gondola gives hikers and bikers access to numerous trails and activities on the mountain.

The newly opened Transit Center gives area residents, visitors from Aspen, and guests easy access to Base Village and all its offerings. Buses arrive and depart regularly and service not just Snowmass Village, but Aspen and the rest of the Roaring Fork Valley.   The Base Village parking garage offers covered, heated parking for those who opt to drive into Snowmass Village.
